what is hashimoto thyroidism
Hashimoto thyrodism?
At the begining of the year I was diagnoised with Hashimoto thyroidism, and to go with it found out I had thyroid Cancer.
I have now finished my treatment, and have stated to notice more that my skin is very dry and my toe nails are quite thick and brittle, Im also very tired all the time!! I have been to the doctors to rule out a fungal nail infection, and to check im not slipping underctive and everything is normal!! Has anyone else noticed similar side effects, what did you do???
I have Hashimoto’s but I didn’t have cancer. I get the dry skin and tiredness too. When you say you’re not underactive, these are all signs that you are – is it just that your blood test results are ‘normal’?
My doctor usually allows me to go slightly ‘hyper’ according to the blood test results, as within normal makes me too tired to function.
