military hash marks

Iam trying to put my 1969 class A’s jacket together and need some kind of book to help me along,ive got the ribbons ok and my unit awards and name tag,but not sure the right place to put my unit patch and hash marks and so on. is there a book where i can read up on this.
Unit patch goes 1/2 inch down from the shoulder seam on the left sleeve. The hash marks are 4 inches above the bottom edge of the left sleeve. Rank insignia is half way between the point of the the elbow and the shoulder.
