If a cop runs my liscense plate can he see a charge for possession of cannabis resin?
I got pulled over and busted with like a gram or so of hash oil. Can cops see that charge if they just run my plate without taking my liscense card? (lets just say at a red light)
No. A criminal charge is associated with the person, not the vehicle.
However, he may not need your drivers license in had to check you. Many states include enough driver information with the plate return where he could make another query. It would take a bit more time, but could be done.
