Hasheem Thabeet is Overrated/Overhyped do you agree?
This cat is sorry. He doesnt have any Offensive game whatsoever. No post moves at all, geez thats sorry. Sure he has great size (7″3) and is a great shot blocker…but thats the only thing going for him.
People use the excuse for him that “He’s still learning the game”…umm people been saying that for Samuel Dalembert for the last 8 years lol. So I dont buy that excuse.
He’s been compared to Dikembe Mutombo, but even pro scouts say that comparision is a stretch. Dikembe at Georgetown had a much more polished offensive game and much better shot blocker than Thabeet.
I’m tired of kids on Y!A who think this guy is good for some strange reason. Do you guys even follow College Hoops? Or do you just copy what they say on ESPN?

Agreed. I’ve been telling people all year that he is a shot blocker and that’s it. He’s only a shot blocker because he’s 10 feet tall, lol. He scores on rebounds and broken plays. His post up game is garbage. That’s why UConn doesn’t throw him the ball much.
