Can someone explain to me what these “X-ray” glasses are REALLY doing?

Chances are these are not “real” xrays. Xrays require a film that must be exposed to a radioactive soure. These glasses must be a scam. But it is just a filter that cuts out certain wave lengths of light.
I would not buy it unless 50 dollars is like pocket change.
