BROWN HASH

Simple oven baked hash brown potatoes. Suggestions please.?

Am fixing two cheesy egg casseroles tomorrow, one with sausage, the other with spinach and bacon. I want to fix a plain bag of Ore Ida hash brown potatoes in the same oven without adding soup, sour cream, onions, cheese. Just maybe some salt and pepper and a bit of oil. Suggestions please.

My favorite way to roast cut potatoes of any shape is to add enough olive oil to coat, sprinkle a packet of onion soup mix over it and cook at about 425 until tender. With regular breakfast potatoes/dinner potatoes this takes about half an hour. For something smaller like hash brown potatoes it will probably be similar to package directions.
