hash and drugs
arrested for hash possession and loaded firearms – what could it mean?
My 60 year old uncle got pulled over and arrested for possession of $5000 worth of hash and a couple loaded firearms. What is he likely facing? Jail time? Probation and a fine?
He does not sell the drugs. He is a Vietnam vet on government disability and uses it to control pain. The firearms are hunting weapons.
5 grand in hash is NOT for personal use. That amount he could be charge with trafficking or possession with intent to sell. A hunter does not transport LOADED weapons.
If they press the matter, fed charges could be filed. 5 to 10 years in prison…………
